Sociocultural conservation strategies of prioritized medicinal plants, their historical context and space for integration

The conservation of medicinal plants must be an all-inclusive endeavor that factors in the contribution all stakeholders, both formal and informal. This paper highlights importance sociocultural aspects plant sources resources using traditional modern strategies. Efficacious strategies featured prominently study include cultural methods preventing overharvesting, enforcing social taboos, totemism, rituals norms. Modern are mainly situ ex refined with education research. underscores application local approaches ensuring a multipronged measure to have sustainable medicine trade practice alongside market expansion. There is need for well-structured harmonization holistic species. Key words: Conservation, plants, aspects, harmonization.
